What size is a futsal ball?
Regulation futsal is played with a size-4 ball. The difference from a size-4 outdoor football is the low-bounce foam bladder and the felt-textured cover, not the circumference alone.
Why do futsal balls bounce less?
A low-bounce foam bladder replaces the standard butyl or latex bladder. This damps rebound so play stays on the floor, which is what makes close control and short passing possible on a hard indoor court.
