Private Label Hoodies
Private label means the hoodie ships on your labels, in your packaging — but the pattern, fabric and construction are ours. It's the fastest path to a brand on shelves.
Neck labels
Three options: (1) woven damask — premium hand-feel, holds up beyond 50 washes, best on heavyweight fleece; (2) satin print — softer against skin, cheaper but fades after 30–40 washes; (3) heat-transfer / tagless — printed direct to the fabric, luxury feel, requires high-quality DTF or silicone ink. Budget brands go tagless; premium streetwear defaults to woven damask.
Care labels
Legally mandated in EU, US, UK and most retail markets. Required data: fibre composition, country of origin, care symbols (wash, bleach, dry, iron, dry-clean), size, and — for EU — the CE responsible person. Combine with the brand label in a single fold or run as a side-seam label. We generate compliant care labels from your composition spec.
Launch timeline
From signed artwork the realistic timeline is: label sampling 5–7 days, hangtag proofing 3–5 days, PP hoodie sample 10–15 days, bulk 35–45 days, ex-factory. Plan freight and DC intake around a 60-day window from the day you approve labels.
Pitfalls
- Approving neck labels without a wash test — printed satin can crack.
- Forgetting country-of-origin declaration on the care label.
- Under-spec polybag (below 40µ) tears in transit.
- Ordering hangtags before final PMS colour approval.
